SPECIAL EVENTS
The Washington Garden Club hosts many fun events for the whole family.
A GARDEN AFFAIR
This annual event features garden related topics, conservation, recycling, plant propagation, flower arranging and use of native plants in the landscape and the home garden. Next event scheduled for April 21, 2012.
HIGH TEA
Washington Garden Club High Tea, noted throughout the state, is a sell out event held every other year. This celebration features excellent teas, delicacies, and a entertainment program of local talents. All foods are prepared and served by members of the garden club and volunteers. The selected theme is carried throughout the affair.
FLOWER SHOW
An annual flower show is held to stimulate interest in horticulture. Division I is for horticulture entries and is open to all adult gardeners. Division II is for floral design and is open to any federated garden club member. The Flower Show is held annually, in the Spring.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
CULTURAL EVENTS
Events such as concerts, plays, children's theatre and storytelling are held on special occasions.
